Camp Discovery, Shrewsbury, PA – The W. Dale Brougher Foundation YMCA

Ages 5-13

Camp Discovery offers summer fun for school age children.  Activities include trips, science, swimming, sports, and more that provide lessons in healthy living.  A safe, nurturing, fun experience is provided by well-trained staff who impart the YMCA core values of: faith, hope, love, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Camp Spirit

Ages 5-13

Camp Spirit is located on 14 acres of outdoor space. Campers participate in a wide variety of programming that includes swimming, archery, indoor gaga pit, amphitheater and an arts & crafts center. Campers enjoy the summer with sports, games, a rock climbing wall, lodges and more. Many activities are related to theme days. Each Friday, campers travel to a local park & to the Graham Aquatic Center for outdoor activities!

Camp Palomino – Bob Hoffman (Dover) Branch

Ages 4-8

At Camp Palomino, campers start the day off with drop off where they meet their friends and get some free play time. Then at 9 am they start the day with our opening ceremony and camp songs/chants. After that campers begin their day of activities which include: Water Activities, Science, Nature, Cooking, Music, Sports, Team Building, Arts and Crafts, Lunch and Reading time as well! 1705 Palomino Road, Dover, PA 17315

MASK POLICY UPDATE – 5.14.2021

We at the YMCA of York and York County are no longer requiring individuals who are fully vaccinated to wear masks or face coverings while in our facilities or engaging in YMCA activities, such as working out in the wellness center, participating in group exercise, or socializing with others. This change is a result of updated recommendations and orders from the CDC and PA Department of Health.
