Giving Through Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC)
In 2001, Pennsylvania Act 4 established the EITC program. Act 4 authorizes the award of tax credits to businesses that make contributions to scholarship organizations. You may receive a tax credit of 90% of your gift if your business commits to two consecutive years of donations. If your business gives for one year, your business may receive a tax credit of 75% of your gift. Your company can give up to $200,000.Learn More
The YMCA gratefully accepts in-kind donations. These gifts are donations of property or services other than money and marketable securities. Examples of these charitable contributions could include real estate, art, life insurance, vehicles, etc.
