What to bring to Outdoor classes

  • Face/hand towel for sweat
  • Large towel to place on Active Older Adult chairs and for on-the-ground exercises
  • Water bottle for hydration
  • Exercise equipment for programs: hand weights, resistance tubing, yoga mat, etc.  The Y provides sturdy chairs and strength equipment for classes at PeoplesBank Stadium
  • Sun protection: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
  • Insect repellent

Masks are not required for those maintaining social distancing guidelines.

Southern Branch YMCA Schedule

Registration will close 24 hours prior to the start of the class. Members need to sign up for each class every week.

Each class is limited to a maximum of 15 participants in order to maintain social distancing guidelines.

Where: Outdoor classes will be held at the Southern Branch YMCA in the grass area closest to Miller Park Drive.

Members will be asked to set up their space area on the markings provided in order to maintain a physical distance of more than 6 feet. Members will not have access to the Y building, however a portable pot is available and located near the pavilion.
