Learn to run a 5K or a half marathon this year!  Certified and experienced instructors will teach you the basics of running and help you increase your mileage for successful races.

Learn to Run 5K

Start your training on the right foot with a run at the Y! During this 8 week course, you will progress from walking to running as our instructor teaches you basic running skills. All skill levels welcome. Register online or with a YMCA Member Service Representative at any Y branch.

Learn to Run – Long Run Series 2020

This Learn to Run series class will help you prepare to run the York Half-Marathon on Sunday, May 17th.  A training plan will be provided for your mid week runs.  Saturday group runs with the trainer will take place on the Heritage Rail Trail.  Stay on track with your training!
