Joining Fee
The Joining fee is a one time fee as long as your membership continues from one year to the next. Yearly memberships that have lapsed more than one month are subject to a new joining fee.
Program Membership Fees
Program Memberships are honored at all YMCA of York County branches and allow individuals to register for YMCA programs. A program membership does not include facility use privileges. Program Member fees are on an annual basis: Youth $10, Adult $20, Family $40. Facility Memberships (FM) or Program Memberships (PM) are required to participate in most YMCA of York County Programs.
Membership Payment Options
You may purchase your membership by monthly draft by simply completing a membership application and signing a "Bank Draft Agreement", and providing a voided check. Members who pay by bank draft never receive a membership bill. Your draft continues until you give us a written 30 day notice. Phone cancellations are not accepted. A 30 day notice is required for any bank account changes. This is a continuous payment system. Members are responsible for drafts not honored by the bank for any reason plus a $25.00 service fee for the bank charge. Person on the account must be 18 years or older. If you wish to pay your membership annually - personal checks, cash, and Visa or MasterCard are accepted.
Association Wide Memberships can be purchased at the Bob Hoffman YMCA. Enjoy the benefits of all FOUR branches. Rates are based on the York YMCA membership rates.

Membership for All
The heart of the YMCA’s mission is to reach out and serve all people in our communities. Because the YMCA is community-based and believes that its programs should be available to everyone, we offer “Membership for All”. This program offers an income-based sliding fee scale that is designed to fit the financial situation of everyone in our community. “Membership for All” is an income-based rate scale that is designed so that all people have access to the YMCA. The scale is used to determine the amount you will be expected to pay based on your income. Present a copy of your most recent tax return at your local branch. We can then help you determine your income-based rate. Complete the membership application and you’re on your way to membership! Personal financial information is handled in a confidential manner and will be seen and reviewed only by YMCA Staff. Your information will not be retained and will not be shared with any other agency or organization.
REGISTRATION FOR CLASSES
In addition to on-line registration, you may also register at the Customer Service Desk, through the mail, or over the phone. (Southern YMCA does not accept phone registrations) Payment needs to be made at the time of registration. Cash, check, Visa, American Express and MasterCard are accepted.
