From summer camps to swim lessons to Y Achievers, the YMCA offers hundreds of ways for youth to have fun, meet friends, learn, be challenged and grow.  The YMCA teaches values, skills and developmental assets that influence the choices young people make during crucial adolescent years. These values help them become caring, responsible adults who will positively affect their communities in the years to come.

Improving the health of our community is a challenge that involves everyone.  For more than 150 years, the YMCA has encouraged people to live healthy lifestyles.  Through Activate America, the YMCA of York County, along with our community partners, is working to help us all live healthier and more fulfilling lives.

Through the Strong Kids Campaign, 100 percent of your contribution stays right here in York County and the YMCA of York County.  In fact, for every contributed dollar we receive, we give 120% in programs and services back to kids, families and the community. There's no surer way to better the lives of our neighbors, friends, community and fellow YMCA members.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Membership and program fees do not cover all the costs to support these vital community programs. The YMCA will never turn anyone away due to an inability to pay and it depends on the generosity of members and friends to make this possible. The donations you make enable us to continue to help your community through the life-changing programs of the YMCA.

Last year, the YMCA of York County touched 13,663 members – with 35% of those children and youth.  We provided $844,749 in financial assistance and subsidies to York County residents.
